July 2011 - 4 Weeks of Separation
This is a post to communicate some very sad news. On Thursday July 21, 2011 my sister-in-law, Tere Losi, passed away after fighting breast cancer for 9 years. Mari has been in Argentina since July 15th and Tere was able to meet Mateo and sing him an Argentine lullaby. Here is a picture of Tere painting from one of our visits to Argentina:
This has been a very sad time for our family. We would solicit your prayers at this time. Below you will see some pictures from Mari's visit and my visit last week. One thing I learned while I was in Argentina was that I love it more and more every visit. I also love my family there as well and miss them mucho mucho mucho! I am looking forward to Mari's return on Friday!

Johnny Rabb
Today I had the opportunity to meet Johnny Rabb. He was doing a clinic at Washington Music Center. Before the clinic, my friend Eric and I had the opportunity to talk with him for about a half hour. It was great to hear about his latest gigs and what he will be working on next.
