Camp Arena Video / Snow Vacation

Well today is my 7th snow day of the year. I hope we end school before my first day @ Camp Arena Stage. Oh, by the way, here is the promotional video which includes a segment of yours truly:



On another note ... I bought Mari an attachment for her mixer a while back, and last night she used it to chop some carrots ... chopped carrots add a lot to a salad:

For the first time in a while, Mari and I tag teamed on making dinner. She made the couscous and salad, and I grilled (indoor style) the pork chops:

Hope you have a great snow day ... for us it's been nice not having to leave the house early in the morning. We've been able to read our Bibles in the morning. It's been helpful to start by focusing on Jesus dying on the cross for us. I prayed today that once the regular routine comes back that we would be able to keep this a priority.

FANTASTICS @ Arena Stage

On Sunday I had the chance to see some old friends from Camp Arena Stage and also see Arena's production of the Fantastics at the Lincoln Theater on U Street. My Friend Danny played percussion so I was able to get a close view of his set-up.

After the show we went to Ben's Chili Bowl for dinner ... mmmmm.
